Abstract |
A 52-year-old women visited Seoul National University Hospital due to abdominaldistension and pelvic mass. Under the impression of ovarian malignancy, total abdominalhysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, infra-colic omentectomy and lymph nodebiopsy was done. Histopathological and immunohistochemical study demonstrated the tumors tobe non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma of diffuse large cell type, B-cell lineage with the involvementof both ovaries, tubes, uterus, omentum and regional lymph nodes. Bone marrow biopsywas done postoperatively and revealed normal. She got one cycle of VBP(vincristine,bleomycin, prednisolone) first, then the chemotherapy regimen was changed to COPBLAM(cyclophosphamide, vincristine, prednisolone, bleomycine, adriamycin, procarbazine). After sixcycles of COPBLAM, she shows complete remission at 7 months of follow up after surgery.Characteristics of primary ovarian lymphoma are emphasized with a brief review of theliteratures. |
